Project Manager

Reporting to: Delivery Manager

Location: South East England, or Cardiff

Salary: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Role description

The Project Manager will ensure that a project is completed on time and within budget, and that the project's objectives are met. The role involves working closely with the customer, at their offices, to ensure that the project is running as expected. The project will typically be the implementation of the Tigerbay system, from initial project-start meetings through to the launch of the system and troubleshooting in the weeks after launch. Other smaller projects such as the introduction of new modules into existing customers is also typical.

Software Tester / Junior Software Tester

Reporting to: Delivery Manager

Location: Cardiff

Salary: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Role Description

We have a growing customer base, which is critical to the expansion of the business. You will help test bug fixes, upgrades and enhancements for our customers prior to them undertaking UAT. We have started to introduce automated testing and need help and expertise to make significant progress in this area. If you have experience of automation and the associated tools, we can offer you an environment to introduce new working practices and help shape our growth.

This role would suit someone who already has experience of software testing, preferably within a software course or IT supplier, is very well organised, and has a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Perform manual and automated tests
  • Plan and execute technical quality assurance activities to ensure quality standards are maintained and to facilitate the improvement of our products
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of an automated test framework
  • Create Release Notes that we can supply to our customers
  • Have the confidence to engage with our customers directly
  • Help our customers through the UAT cycle and get them live

Experience and skills required

Experience within a software development environment, working with analysts and developers across the full software lifecycle

  • Relevant testing experience across a range of technology areas in application development

Support Analyst

Reporting to: Helpdesk Manager or Delivery Manager

Location: Cardiff

Salary: Dependent on skills and experience

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week

Tigerbay was launched in 2008 in response to the demand for purpose-built tour operator web technology. Since then Tigerbay has designed, built and developed a system that can be delivered as an end-to-end sales and management system, or integrated with existing websites. We are currently 28 staff with offices in central Cardiff. We have several high profile customers including Mark Warner, Simpson Travel and Martin Randall.

In December, 2015, Tigerbay was acquired by the ATCORE Technology Group providing Tigerbay with investment and support from the leading supplier of high performance and e-commerce platforms to the largest leisure travel companies. ATCORE’s customers include Thomson, First Choice, TUI & Thomas Cook.

Our ideal candidate will receive training and insight on:

  • How to use the Tigerbay software.
  • The in-house software production processes
  • Tour operator business processes from cradle to grave
  • Skills to support tour operators in their use of our software

Key duties will include:

  • Providing 1st line technical support to our customer base
  • Logging, prioritising and analysis of service calls generated from either project implementation or through the Helpdesk.
  • Testing product functionality and recreating user scenarios. Liaising with customers to understand their needs and issues.
  • Updating the help desk ticket management system proactively
  • Undertaking support or project work, as assigned by the Helpdesk Manager or the Delivery Manager

There is no minimum qualification or previous experience in regard to this role. Instead, we seek very bright and very ambitious people.  Strong written, verbal and analytical skills are highly desirable and a keen interest in travel or technology, or both, is advantageous. However, if you already have experience of working in a software house or provider on either implementation projects or product support then this could be the opportunity for you.
